Warranty terms and information.

While we have total faith in the products and machinery we sell we have to add exclusions for things which are beyond our control.

 

Warranty terms and exclusions :

Machine Frame: 1 year electronic, mechanical and pneumatic :

This includes power supplies, servo drives, drive motors and spindle inverter for electrical breakdown only .

Pneumatic circuits are guaranteed only if supplied with clean filtered dry air .

Water ingress damage is totally excluded.

Corrosion from damp atmosphere is excluded.

 

Controller: 1 year. For electrical break down.

Excluded: Software function, operator misuse or corruption of data/ data loss is not covered by warranty.

 

 

Vacuum pumps: 1 year electrical warranty . Excluded from warranty if not connected via a correctly wired, rated and fully operational motor overload protector. Incoming air filters must be used and in good condition.

 

 

Extraction motors : 1 year electrical warranty .

Excluded from warranty if not connected via a correctly wired, rated and fully operational motor overload protector.

Any pipe/ dust bags etc are classed as consumable items and excluded from warranty.

 

 

High frequency spindle: 6 months spindle against electrical breakdown.

Excludes bearing wear or pneumatic failure due to water damage from moist air supply. (Supply compressor tanks should be totally water drained daily)

Excludes operator error causing a spindle crash or spindle over load.

Excludes incorrect assembly, cross threading or over tightening of collet nuts causing thread damage.

The spindle is classed as a consumable item .

Tool holder clips are classed as a consumable item and are not covered by warranty.

Collets and pull studs are consumable items and should only be used if in good condition.

 

 

Exclusions general : Power spikes from lightning, or other machinery causing "brownout" from over voltage or power surging on the incoming mains supply.

Any unauthorised repairs totally invalidate any warranty.

Warranty is Non transferable . Warranty is only valid for the original machine purchaser.

 

Replacement parts: Any parts we supply as part of any warranty claim will be covered for the original purchase warranty period only.

 

Pre used machinery and parts warranty:

All pre used and "close out" equipment is supplied with limited 30 day warranty. Subject to conditions as above.
